The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Today in class, we've read an small translation of our reading book. This is my translation. The first paragraph is in English and the sencond one is in Spanish. I want to be first this time!
TRANSLATION: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. (page 24)
The next day, Tom and Huck went to the haunted house. "Huck, let's look carefully in all the rooms. Perhaps we'll find something." Tom and Huck started to walk round the house. Everything was old and dirty. Suddenly, Tom and Huck heard a noise. They hid quickly in an old wardrobe. The door didn't close completely and the boys saw Injun Joe and another man enter the room. The boys were very scared! "Now, we've got the money to scape from this town," said the man. "Yes, and nobody saw us take the money," said Injun Joe. Injun Joe put a big box on the table and opened it carefully. The box was full of silver coins!

Al día siguiente, Tom y Huck fueron a la casa encantada. "Huck, echemos un vistazo detenidamente en todas las habitaciones. Tal vez encontremos algo". Tom y Huck empezaron a andar alrededor de la casa. Todo era antiguo y estaba sucio. De repente, Tom y Huck escucharon un ruido. Se escondieron rápidamente en un viejo armario. La puerta no se cerró completamente y los chicos vieron a Injun Joe y otro hombre entrar en la habitación. ¡Los chicos estaban muy asustados! "Ahora tenemos el dinero para escapar de este pueblo", dijo el hombre. "Sí, y nadie nos vio llevar el dinero", dijo Injun Joe. Injun Joe puso una gran caja encima de la mesa y la abrió cuidadosamente. ¡La caja estaba llena de monedas de plata!

Tom went to find his friends.In the town , he saw some peolple. What are you doing ? Tom asked. There's a new family in this house, a man answered. We're helping the family to take their furniture into the house. Tom watched for a new minutes. Suddenly , he saw a girl sitting at the window of the house. She had blonde hair and a white dress. She was very beautiful.Tom decided that he wanted to meer her. Soon, all the furniture was in the house.The people left and there was nobody in the street. Tom went the garden and climbed up a tree.
Translation: Tom fué a buscar a sus amigos.En la ciudad vivió a muchas personas. ¿Qué estáis haciendo?- Preguntó Tom. Hay una familia nueva en esta casa, le contestó un hombre. Estamos ayudando a la familia a llevar sus muebles a casa. Tom miró durante unos minutos. De repente vió a una chica sentada en la ventana de la casa. Tenía el pelo rubio y un vestido blanco.Ella era muy hermosa.Toma decidió que quería conocerla. Pronto, todo el mobiliario estaba en la casa .La gente se fué y no había nadie en la calle de Tom, entró en el jardín y se subió a un árbol.

"Oh, Jimmy. I didn't hear you. I'm concentrating, and this is art, not work" Tom answered. "Art?" That's interesting! Can I help you?" asked Jimmy. "No, you can't. It's difficult and the fence has to be perfect", answered Tom. "Tom, please!" Jimmy said. "I'll give you my apple". "Ok, but be careful", said Tom. ***SPANISH*** Derrepente, Tom tuvo una idea. Empezó a pintar cuidadosamente. A menudo paraba a mirar su trabajo. Pronto, su amigo, Jimmy, llegó. "Tom,¿qué estás haciendo?" preguntó Jimmy. "Vamos al río". Tom no respondió. Continuó pintando lenta y cuidadosamente. "Hey, Tom.¿estás escuchando?¿por qué estás trabajando hoy?" preguntó Jimmy. "Oh, Jimmy. No te escuché. The chapter is about Tom Sawyer the pirncipal character who was punished for his aunt for eating jam without permission. As a punnishment, the aut made him paint the fence. Tom is very clever and he said to his friends that to paint the fence yas very funny and it was an art. They believed it and without realizing did his punishment for him while Tom was sitting under a tree. When his aunt went out to see the work, she was surprised and congratukated him because he did a perfect work.
