Dear students,
Here you have some ideas for the end-of-term project. This time we are going to work on environmental issues, so apart from the ones suggested here, you may add some others (but remember you have to tell me first). Important information:
- Deadline: 31st May
- Groups: maximum 3 people per group
- Topics:
1. Spanish endagered species. You have to create a booklet. Remember to include pictures and a description.
2. Top Ten Endagered Species in the World. You also have to create a booklet.
3. Renewable energy. You have to create a leaflet.
4. Types of pollution. Write a newspaper article.
5. Recycling. Create a manual indicating how to recycle around the house, at school, etc.
6. Global warming. Create a poster describing it and its different effects on the environment.
7. Decalogue. Indicate how to save energy around the house.
8. Decalogue. Indicate how to save energy at school.

Early on suday morning, tom and huck took the raft back to town and went into the small church.tom and huck hid upstairs.
soon,people started to come into the church.everybody was very sad. Nobody said anything. Then the priest started to talk about the boys.
Tom Sawyeer and Huck Finn were best friends.
They werw good noys, but we didn't see the good in them. We only saw the bad things they did.
Everybody in the church started to cry.
Suddenly, a man shouted, "ghosts".
Everybody turned and looked. Tom and ÇHuck were on the stairs.
"Were we really good boys? Are you happy to see us again ? they asked.
Aunt Polly ran to Tom and hugged him.She hugged Huck, too. Then she said, " Tom Sawyer! I'm very happy to see you. Iforgive you for all the bad things you did. Please stay at home!"
Tom promise to stay at home. He and Aunt Polly went back to the house, very happy.
Translations:
El domingo por la mañana temprano, Tom y Huck cogieron la balsa de vuelta a la ciudad y entraron en la pequeña iglesia. no había nadie allí. Tom t Huck se escondieron en las escaleras,
Pronto, la gente empezó a entrar en la iglesia. Todo el mundo estaba muy triste.Nadie decía nada. Entonces el cura empezó a hablar sobre los niños.
Tom Sawyer y Huck Finn eran los mejores amigos. Ellos eran buenos chicos pero no vimos lo bueno en ellos. nosotros solo vimos las cosas malas que ellos hicieron.
Todo el mundo en la iglesia empezó a llorar.
De repente un hombre gritó, fantasmas!, todo el mundo se volvió y miró, Tom y Huck estaban en las escaleras. "¿ de verdad eramos buenos chicos ? ¿ estan contentos de vernos otra vez ? preguntaros ellos.
Tía Polly corrió hacia Tom y le abrazó. Ella también abrazó a Huck. Entonces ella dijo, Tom Sawyer! estoy muy contenta de verte , yo te perdono por todas las cosas malas que hiciste. Por favor quédate en casa!.
Tom prometió quedarse en casa. El y Tía Polly volvieron a casa muy contentos.

Writing - A competition entry
ReplyDeleteA) Our city is small and it's between the sea and the field. people like to walking in the fiel. This spring a lot of peolple have visited and rubbis has become a big problem. We have decided to take action.
B)Firstly, we have decided to make rubbish collection teams. three days after school five schoolmates have been to the field and collected rubbish.We have worked in pairs and we've worn green t-shirts so people can see us. them we have asked the city for more recycling and they're put them near the field and the car park. This has made a big difference. People have recycled all their containers: plastic bottles glass, bottles and aluminum cans.
C) FInally, my school has had a big party to collect money
